Whats the difference between a fighter pilot and his aircraft? The plane stops whining when you shut down the engines!!

In the video at about 3:55, the bomber aircraft is shot down, but the torpedo appears to continue on to the target and explode - this could represent a useful improvement upon the status quo.

The times I've dropped a torpedo, but got shot down in the current version this happends as well, untill I click Refly.
How does your observation differ from the current status quo?

Great news,
It's good they sailed away from the crapy mod's world and bring back us toward reality. At least Oleg dug its 1946 and turned away from making easy money with silly stuff (sim brief history as shown tht there is nothing to build concrete there since).
I'm sure the Fokker & Savoy would be a delight to fly as the improved Machi with its pilot steping out after years in the "tub".
When will we see some Belgian/Netherland early maps on WC ?
But the utmost will be to FIGHT IN THE DARK with the AWSOME model of the primitive radar !!! Wonderfull job, MAgnifique !
What do you think about 123 squad ?

IIRC as things currently stand, weapons do no damage if the launching pilot leaves the game (by being killed or presumably also by hitting refly) before they go off. I could be wrong... _________________

A handful of new planes that I wouldn't even download off of AAA, a new map, a new train, and some joystick stuff that has been available in mods for months.

I'm unsure whether this SM.79 flies an online or offline mission.
In both mission types weapon will go off, but online bombs/rockets/torpedoes wont do damage if a player is killed before they go off.
AA guns are as deadly as ever . _________________

I am curious about this as well?
Will 4.09 "Official" be run at WC instead of what is being hosted now?

i am not sure that it is much diference top what runs now planeset asside i guess? it sure would make thingssimpler though and assuming most other servers would go to it? numbers would increase due to passing traffic _________________

For me the difference would be I guess running "standard" vs running "mods".

S!,
This actually may help WC. I see a good many folks that fly in the 4.08 servers that have not flown in WC since we made the change to 4.09mb. Perhaps, with the new patch, we'll see the return those pilots?
